UNSOLED: THE JAMISON FAMILY

Crimes against humanity are sometimes left unsolved. The further evidence turned up, the deeper the mystery becomes. Equally if the offense has ended badly, it may just point the way to further uncertainty and disorder. One such Image result for THE JAMISON FAMILYcase would be the disappearance of the Jamison family who composed of father, Bobby Dale Jamison, 44, mother Sherilyn Leighann Jamison, 40, and their 6-year-old daughter Madyson Stormy Star Jamison.

What happened?

It was October 8, 2009 in Eufaula, Oklahoma the Jamison family disappeared. The family packed up their truck to go buy a 40-acre parcel of land near Red, Oak which was in the sequestered Sans Bois Mountains. Their desire was to live away from civilization in the wilderness to experience a harmonious way of life. They set out to wrap up the purchase but, where never seen again.

It was eight days without a single wordfriends and family began to worry. The police were summoned, and they examined the region which surround, with the aid of hundreds of volunteers. They managed to track down the family‘s deserted truck along with their dog starving with in, along with wallets, ID’s, mobilesa sat nav as well as $32,000 in cash. Their truck was discovered locked at the side of the road. This was unusual and the Latimer country sheriff Israel Beauchamp knew it so he promptly began a full scale investigation which Image result for THE JAMISON FAMILY TRUCKinvolved dronesdogshundreds of officers as well as volunteers with some on horseback. This search came to no avail, it was virtually as if they went through a portal and vanished. There was speculation that there was foul play but there was practically no information to go on. Over eight months there was leadsinterviews and a wealth of possible suspects. This was the largest manhunt in Oklahoma history.

Four years later…

After four years the remains of two adults and a child where located in November of 2013. Deer hunters discovered the skeletal bodies laying side by side face down in the dirt. The remains were discovered in a segregated area 2.7 miles from the abandoned truck which is eerie enough, the manhunt did not come upon them, but, what is even stranger is the fact that the cause of death could not be confirmed due to the remains being deeply decomposed.

The Drug theory

After this there was considerable speculation. Some believed they  went astray, or they perished of hypothermia. One suggestion was that it was a drug deal gone wrong (the great some of cash in the truck). Supporting this theory, the neighbours noted that in the days leading up to the disappearance Bobby and Shirlyn were behaving differently and seemed considerably bleak and a bit scrawny. This supported the theory even more because this kind of behaviour shows on excessive drug abuse. Crystal meth would have most likely been the Image result for METH LABdrug as in the mountainous region, that the family went to, there was a abundance of meth labs. Footage from the family home establishes that the couple where packing up their belongings in to there truck robotically and in silence when they made a dozen trips back and forth from the house. All though searches never could link the family to any drugs. Supposing that they were not directly connected, they may have stumbled upon a secret lab disquieting the owners and leading to their deaths.

The cold blooded murder theory

one of the most convincing theories would be that the family’s death was simply a cold-blooded murder. Some are convinced it could have been Bobby’s father who he had a continuous disagreement with. His father, Bob Jamison, Co-owned a gas station with his child and they made a decision to sell up but the father chose to back out. This lead to the family being threatened twice by the father and they had a protective order against him. This is why they installed the home security cameras. It was even reported that Bob Jamison had connections with the Mexican mafia. He had a great temper and a large amount of money so it is Image result for white supremacistpossible.

There is also another man who could be a suspect a male white supremest. At one period there was a man who was living with the Jamison family, renting a room.At some stage the man was subjecting sherilyn to racial abuse due to her being partly  native American. To get him off of her property, she pulled out her handgun and ordered him to leave. This incident made the police interrogate the man about the disappearance but his alibi held up so it could not have been him.

suicide

Both adult members of the Jamison family have suffered from intense depression and the deaths could have been a murdersuicide in the family themselves. Sherilyin’s depression came from the death of her sister, Martha, and Bobby’s came from the pain generated by a traffic accident. Along with depression the additional reason this could have been a possibility is the letter which was 11 pages long had been written to Bobby by sherilyin saying how much she hated him aswell as  there handgun which was kept in Image result for THE JAMISON FAMILY horsesthe truck was missing. Also, there was a small hole in the back of Bobby’s head. Could the mother have shot her daughter and husband and then her self? I do not think this is even plausible because why did the bodies reappear years later?

witchcraft and ghosts?

Now lets get down to the more weird theory. The family’s pastor, Gary Brendon, gave some rather odd yet interesting statements. The pastor claims that the family told him there house was haunted. The family claimed that the had made conntact with a dead family. The daughter had talks with the dead chid of the family. Another claim was that two of the ghost where called Emily and Michael, one had wings. Bobby requested “special bullets” to shoot the spirits and Sherilyn dug into the history of her home to find out if there was a burrial ground underneath. Investigators found a storage container with this message written on the side “3 cats killed to date buy people in this area . . . Witches don’t like there black cat killed.” It is unknown what this means and to add to the weirdness a freind of Sherilyn Jamison was a witch and that several of the family’s cats had been poisoned by neighbours.

A cult

Now lets glide down a vaguer and more ominous path. Sherilyn’s mother stated that her daughter was placed on a cult‘s hit list and was somehow or other mixed up in  this cult. The mother never told which cult 2A76F68300000578-3158161-image-a-1_1436705490099.jpgbut did report there were many cults in the mountainous area. Sherilyn’s best friend, Nicki, was approached by a woman from the United White Nights who claimed that Sherilyn was involved with them. This woman pledged to kill her.

The daughters last photo

Time for some further creepiness. The last picture of madyson on Bobby Jamison’s phone was taken in the mountains on the day of the family‘s disappearance. The little girl appeared miserable, she had her arms crossed and her face turned away from the camera. Her grandmother declared that Madyson loved to have photos taken, and this picture was not ordinary. There are no more clues in the picture just more questions.

The 35th latitude Phenomenon

‘the line of tragedy‘ or ’35th degree Latitude’ Is a chain or crimes that took place  along the 35th lattidue. This is where the Jamison family disappeared.
One crime was by a Houston mother named Andrea Pia Kennedy who had ptsd and drowned here 5 children in a bathtub back in 2001. The 35th degree latitude was also where Timothy McVeigh carried out the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma, which mowed down 168 people and harmed almost 700 hundred others.

conclusion

Well, that was the disappearance of the Jamison family. I do not think we will ever truly know what happened but we all have are own speculations and that’s all they really are. There is no concrete proof of anything. The most plausible theory is that the father murdered the family or it was a drug dealer. I do believe there is a thing such as a ghost but I do not really see that having that much effect on there disappearanceWell, this is one mystery that has been left unsolved.
